Philanthropy 360 Youth Development Program |
Overview:
One of our missions at Philanthropy 360 is to impact the YOUTH through education and social conscious experiences that enable the participants to see how they can in turn make the world a better place.
Our first program is about taking a group of students deemed to be ‘at risk’ from New Plymouth in New Zealand. Grant Rawlinson is a New Zealander living in Singapore. In 2010 Grant approached the Humaneity Foundation with an offer to support their objectives through his attempt to climb Mt Everest in May 2011. It was soon decided that Grant and Mark the founder of Philanthropy 360, would raise funds to support the Philanthropy 360 Youth Development Program. There goal, to take a group of YOUTH from their respective home city, New Plymouth in New Zealand to India. A life changing experience that will empower the YOUTH not only to change their own lives, but also to engage them in playing their role in making the world a better place.
Today Philanthropy 360 and Grant are raising funds to send the first group of YOUTH to India in early 2012. The Program is being designed in conjunction with the Riverside School in India
